Isaac Corré
Governors Lane
Isaac Corré is the Chief Executive Officer and Portfolio Manager of Governors Lane. Prior to Governors Lane, he was a founding partner and Senior Managing Director of Eton Park Capital Management where he was responsible for the firm’s event-oriented activities, principally in North America, since inception in 2004. He also assumed responsibility for the distressed corporate credit portfolio beginning mid-2009 and was instrumental in overseeing the firm’s activities as both a member of the senior leadership team and the Operating Committee. Prior to joining Eton Park, Isaac was a Partner of Scoggin Capital Management where he focused on event-driven investments. Isaac practiced law as a commercial litigator for nearly ten years before transitioning to investment management. He lectures on issues relating to corporate governance and to legal risk in the capital markets. In 2014, he was a visiting scholar and lecturer at Harvard Law School where he taught seminars on contemporary issues in corporate governance. Isaac holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board.
