Aaron Wertentheil

Jones Road Capital

Aaron Wertentheil is the Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Jones Road Capital Management, an opportunistic special situations fund investing in credit, equities, derivatives and other asset classes. Prior to Jones Road, he was a Senior Managing Director, Partner and Operating Committee Member of Eton Park Capital Management.  Aaron joined Eton Park prior to its launch in 2004 and most recently oversaw Eton Park’s credit and derivatives investments. He became Senior Managing Director and Partner in 2010.  In addition to making credit and derivatives investments for Eton Park’s flagship multistrategy funds, Aaron was responsible for investing for three additional credit-focused funds at Eton Park.  Over the years, Aaron invested in structured credit, derivatives, corporate, asset-related, municipal bonds and sovereign credit instruments, among other investments.  Prior to joining Eton Park, Aaron worked at Banc of America Securities and Royal Bank of Canada, and primarily focused on event-driven strategies. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Yeshiva University, Sy-Syms School of Business.  He serves on the Board of Project Ezrah, a not-for-profit organization that prepares out-of-work participants for re-entry into the workforce.
